Get your college career started with a 5Point Scholarship.

We are awarding eight $2,500 scholarships to select high school seniors. Scholarship recipients are 5Point members who exemplify the credit union's values in their academics, leadership, and community involvement. 
 

Requirements

The following minimum requirements have been established to qualify for a scholarship:

  • Applicant must be a member in good standing with 5Point Credit Union.
  • Applicant must be the primary owner of a 5Point share (savings) account in existence by March 30, 2023; parents’ accounts are NOT sufficient.
  • Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited high school program during the 2022-2023 academic year. Homeschool programs will be accepted on a case by case basis.
  • Applicant must submit an SAT score and/or an ACT score.
  • Applicant must have an overall “C” grade point average or better.
  • To be eligible for consideration, applications must be submitted by March 31, 2023, no later than 5 p.m.
Applicants may not:
  • Be employees, children or grandchildren of employees, officers, or board members of 5Point Credit Union.

Application Process

Complete and submit your application before the deadline. Our scholarship committee will review all applications and winners will be notified of their selection. Funds are disbursed to scholarship recipients after we receive the student's proof of registration from their selected college or university for the Fall 2023 semester.
