Visa and Discover
If you carry both Visa debit and Discover debit in your wallet, your process for this change is simple. You should discontinue using your Discover debit card, switching any purchases -- and automatic payments
-- to your Visa debit as soon as possible. Once you’re using Visa debit exclusively, give us a call, and we will cancel your Discover card for you.
If you currently use only our Discover debit card, please prioritize switching over to Visa debit by June 30, 2021. There are three easy ways to get a new Visa debit card at no cost to you:
- An instant issue card in any branch. We can easily and quickly instant issue a Visa debit card to you. You will leave with a new card in your hands.
- Call us. Give us a call at 1.800.825.8829 between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Once we verify your information, we will mail a new card to you.
- Order a new Visa while you’re at a branch. If you’re in a branch, let one of our team members know you’re ready to order your new Visa card. If you don’t have time to wait for an instant issue, we can order the card for you and have it mailed to the address on file.
Once a new Visa card is ordered, your old Discover debit card will continue to work for 30 days, so be sure to switch over all
of your automatic payments or bill pay items (Amazon, utilities, gym memberships, etc.) to your new Visa card within that 30-day window.
