Abandoned Accounts | If your account has had no activity in the last year and you have not contacted the credit union, your account becomes dormant. After three years of dormancy, your account becomes abandoned, and the funds in the account will be sent to the State Comptroller by June 25, 2024. Click here for more details.
If you have not had any activity on your account in the past year, we urge you to do so. This would mean a deposit or a withdrawal from any suffix on your account.

This includes your regular share (savings) account, share draft (checking).  If there is no activity on your account in one year and no contact from you, the account becomes dormant. After being dormant for three years the account becomes abandoned, which means the funds will be sent to the State. Abandoned accounts must be sent to the State Comptroller by June 25, 2024.
